Thanks Kyle, I sure will pass the word around and by the way
what is the name of your outfit and where is it located because
I will be asked a bunch of questions and I gotta know the ans.
God be with you and all the troops overseas. Roque
Roque,
I am an 18 year veteran of the US Air Force currently stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
I am a carrier weapons system technition. I currently work on the F-16 weapons system. The job also includes loading weapons on the aircraft as well. I love my job. I have always love the flightline aspect of the job. I have always been a hands on sort of guy.
I was recently selected to the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7). THat will take me off the aircraft and into the office. I do plan to stay in the AF as long as I can. Right now that will take me to the year 2014 and 26 years in service.
I have been deployed to many location overseas. I spent 9 months in Saudi Arabia in the mid and late 90s. I was actually at Khobar Towers when the terrorists cowards blew up our dorm building...
I have been to Turkey twice. Romania twice. Spain and Portugal once.
I hope this helps and if you need more info just ask.
Take care,
Kyle

Okay Rocky, this is the PLACE for the entire scoop on your reunion. So fire away buddy. Let's here all about it. And once again congrats on your promotion and election as PRESIDENT!
Well here goes nothing. Arrived at Council Bluffs at 12::30pm Thurs. So we registered in and the casino was just next door. The word had got out that I was
the acting president so as the people came they shook my hand and said good luck.Friday after breakfast the meeting began so the very first thing was to swear me in as acting president, I was handed the gavel and Jerry Gorden said go get them tiger! Sothe very first thing I did before the Color Guard posted the Colors I called the Chaplain foreward and he gave me a funny look wondering what I was going to do. I had all to stand then I instructed the Chaplain to say a prayer for the president, Bill Smith, for his recovery, then themeeting started with the posting of the Colors, etc, etc,. Made a little speach and conducted the meeting.. Last year there were about 150 at the meeting and this year only about 100, makes you think, how much longer. On Saturday we had the business meeting and election of officers, and then is when I became President for 2006-2007. So I said to all there that itwas a privlege and an honor to have been elected for that position and after all the years of reunions that I was the first Mexican American to hold this position of Presidency. GOT A STANDING OVATION! Marion I Talked to Jerry about you and the 6th Corps combat Engineers gave him your card and he said he will write you. Ellen Ankrum Daughter of The author or "Dogfaces Who Smiled--"
also will write you and others said the same thing. Sure hope so. Marion I have said too much. I will e-mail you tomorrow To tell you about Elizabeth. Sickness that I am worried about quite a bit. Till later,,,Rocky
