I was looking at a copy of the Washington DC Times-Herald dated August 15, 1945. The front page headlines were "Orders to Hirohito to set Peace Session in Manila Friday. On the back page was a FULL PAGE AD with only three large words:
WE THANK GOD
It's too large to fit on my scanner but this will give you an idea.
Would love to send that to a newspaper today. They'd be too afraid to print anything like that nowadays. Bad enough to include it in a story, but a full-page ad for GOD!
Everyone is yelling church and state, church and state, yet not half of them even understand the constitutionality of their words. A FREE PRESS may print whatever the heck it wants, it's NOT under STATE jurisdication. But if a paper tried that tomorrow morning, all those flippin' wackos would start screaming, seperation of church and state! IDIOTS!

Dogdaddy & Marion,
This subject makes my blood boil!
Even our local town papers are now taken over by Moonbats.
Last week, in the "Entertainment" section of my town's paper, there was a
huge article about this so-called comedian doing a show called "Jesus The Guantanamo
Years". As if that isn't bad enough, the author of the column actually states:
"Some Christians may have trouble getting around the idea of a political Jesus
clad in Guantanamo Bay orange jumpsuit and poking fun at the HYPOCRITICAL
traditions of the Catholic Church"
So this so-called Entertainment columnist actually states in print, under the guise
of an entertainment review, that Christianity/Catholicism is "hypocritical".
It's pernicious & frightening! Don't people see that? Or are they all too
focused on Brittany Spears et al.
I went BALLISTIC and called the BITCH (I'm sorry that's what she is)
that is the Editor of the paper & told her to stop delivering her trashy propaganda to my home.

Seems like the Liberal Loonies are trying to keep God on the sidelines. I still recall Ernie Pyles quote, " there are
no Atheist's in a foxhole".. If I remember correctly each of the 3 Infantry Bn.'s in a Regiment had a Chaplain.
One Bn. had a Catholic Chaplain, one had a Protestant Chaplain, and one had Jewish Chaplain. I wonder how long this will last at this rate. Also wonder if God was alllowed in schools would the school shootings (such as
Colembine) ease up. I recall one Colembine shooting victims fathers answer when one parent said, " How could God allow this to happen". His answer was "God is not allowed in schools anymore".

HI JOE !! Roger on Ernie Pyle. Roque
Joe and Roque:-
I am sure you both may have heard this story of mine before but bear
with me as I retell it here:-
We had a guy in my Platoon that would argue at the drop of a hat that,
as an agnostic, he could prove there was no such thing as GOD!!
One day after we first got to France there was a flight of P-38s on their
way back to England and we were hunkered down behind one of the
Bocage (hedgerows) in Normandy and they were only about 75 feet+/-
above the ground when they popped over the Bocage and zip were gone!!
Scared the living **** out of us because they were so loud and so low
(to get under the Kraut Radar) that we never heard them coming and
only got a glimpse before they were out of sight.
My friend the agnostic screamed at me "Holy Mother of God Sarge what the
**** was that??".
After we stopped laughing,I yelled over "When you can explain to me how
there is a Holy Mother of God but no God - then I'll tell you what they were!!".
That day a new believer was born I guarantee you and we never let him forget.
Sgtleo
SgtLeo,

BTW - I 'm also a fellow suffering resident of Taxachusetts
We're out numbered by loons!

Nice to hear from you again Sgtleo. Read you loud and clear. After our first "skirmish" with
Krauts, what did the "Ities"call them? Don't know how to spell the word but something like
this. Tedeschi. Everyone was a firm believer. Roque
