I am at the stage where I can still chase and eye the ladies but I'll be damned if
I can remember what to do if I catch one. Can you give me a clue??

This LCI was not taking us on a Whale Watching Trip:-
This is where they dropped us and went back to their ship and England:-
This is what the Krauts were planning to surprise and hurt us with:-
Didn't matter we got up the hill anyway and then made them sorry for being Badies!!

Lets face it guys, we can "chase", (look and wish ), but thats almost it anymore. Now back a while (60+ years
ago) in France and Germany, thats something different. When I was young and single. But thats a different story
left alone. And on return back home, thats another story left alone. Been happily married for over 57 years though..
Still unable to contact Russ Cloer (3-7-I Recon ) for about 2 years but figured his picture also belonged posted here.
Russ was Platoon Leader of the I&R Platoon 7th Inf Reg. Pic taken in the Colmar pocket, France during the '44-45
winter.. One of the worst winters in history in Europe.
Thanks for adding that one too. Now we have a formal pic of him and an informal pic. Greatly appreciated.
I miss him too!
Jim Hennessey sent these great photos to me from his personal collection. Happy to add them.
First one. Jim would you care to comment as I upload these?
Jim's reply:
