Mr Timmers,
My grandfather is buried very near Edward Timmers. Name William Walcher Plot: G Row: 14 Grave: 2. I do not know your schedule or your visitation schedule, however if you do again visit, would you mind honoring this grave in my place as well? Perhaps a picture if you do visit?
Thank you.
Edited to mention that my grandfather was also of the 81st Combat Engineers, same as Timmers.

I have attached a picture of Edward Francis Timmers in his uniform. Edward was my Grandfathers brother. He was born 4 Jan 1914 in Cincinnati, Ohio. His widow was Dorothy Glutz who passed away in 2005. They had one son Anthony E Timmers who lives in Pennsylvania.
How wonderful. Thanks for posting those pictures. It's great to have you as a member. It's nice to see how this post continues to grow.
Welcome!!!!
What a FANTASTIC Story! I could not quit reading! And sorry I have not seen this sooner. It is Beautiful!
I had a little window of time to drop a note on the site and so fortunate to have found this!
