Translation is not a problem for me, and I don't mean because I can read French to an extent, but I have all my computers set up to do translations.
There are many fine programs to use to translate pages, email, etc., and I advise people to take advantage of them, especially amongst our WWII crowd, as we are very likely to run into webs in multiple languages.
My browser is Mozilla's Firefox with the Google Toolbar. I have a translator setup on the toolbar, and it works just great.
