I don't normally forward e-mails that I receive; however, I felt compelled to send this to you. I hope you have about 10 minutes to watch this video. I enjoyed the history. But, more than anything it made me once again be so very grateful to you for all the work you've done to record and preserve the history of the 540th Combat Engineers.

Jimmy Doolittle's Grand Daughter Speaks

 

Thought you would enjoy if you have not seen this.

It's a speech by Doolittle's grand daughter.

She wrote a book about her grandfather called "Calculated Risk" which is a

good read. Note also she does this without notes and teleprompters

 

Simply outstanding....would he ever be proud of her......... as. we all are.

I myself finally had the chance to watch it from beginning to end. I was very impressed and inspired.

Wrote her a letter yesterday and received a reply today:
