I finally convinced Don that I REALLY did want his story. He is such a dear sweet and very uneffacing gentleman. When I ran into him again at the 101st luncheon, he actually came up to me and asked, "Did you really mean it when you said you wanted my story?" Of course I said, really. Then he smiled and said that he didn't want me to think that he was being vain. Oh my God, no. How could I think that? I'm the one who wanted his WWII history. See how great these guys are? Asking me if they are being vain.
As long as they don't use your name in vain Marion!
I am DEFINATELY looking forward to that story, Marion!
I hope to add ALfred Corgan to my site soon. Rick Mommers sent me a bunch of material!
If they don't like the name Marion
How about Jeanette and sing them this song
Getting to know you.
[Children Giggle]
Getting to know you, getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me.
Getting to know you, putting it my way,
But nicely,
You are precisely,
My cup of tea.
[Children Giggle]
papa
Gee suddenly I feel like I'm in on the movie set of the Sound of Music. I don't know why I keep getting this feeling?
I didn't realize when I woke up this morning, that someone would be singing to me.
That's right papa, if they get tired of Marion, we'll just introduce them to Jeanette Catherine.
