I've fired a .22 version of the M1 Garand and it was very fun to shoot. It looked outwardly like an M1, but it had a tube magazine for the rounds. All of the sighting was done like an M1, it just didn't have any kick to it like the .30-06 round would obviously have. I think I posted about it for sure. I hope so, because I can't remember the name.
