Sigh, this section is becoming longer and longer...

I just got a phone call from Bob Price's daughter that I really didn't want to hear. Bob was a very courageous man and a great Seahorse. He came to the reunions at a terrible price to him, he was bent over so far his head rested on his cane. Yet he was always cheerful and smiling. We corresponded regularly on the Internet and he always saw the bright side of things. He joins many of his old comrades and one day we will meet again. May he rest in peace!

36 Engineers are rugged......John Fallon II. Capt. USA Ret.

My condolences to his family. Another fine seahorse joins his brothers.

Bob and I also corresponded via email. Here's one of the emails he had sent...

Hi Marion I think you are doing a terrific job. If you have any thing on the landing at Cavellier, France. Please forward it to me. I remember this landing, this is the one where I had an officer coming out of a brothel so I told him to leave his clothes off and head down the street to the stockade. I brought home a complete Nazi uniform including boots & Luger.

Wow.

Yes, this section is getting much too long.
