Harry Clawson's name is on the Wall of missing in Margraten. When they found his body, a little rosette was placed beside his name to show people that his remains had been found. On the picture you can see Fred Bahlau, a good friend of Harry Clawson, sitting next to his name ... crying. Fred and Harry both received a Silver Star for their actions in Normandy. The Silver Star was awarded to them in June 1944 on the square in Carentan.

Fred visited the cemetery in Margraten a couple of times, I met him twice. In September 2008 and May 2009. A true hero who earned two Silver Stars, Two Bronze Stars and a battlefield commission. This picture was taken in May 2009.
