Hi Marion,
Hope all is well with you and yours. Fine here 130 miles north of the nasty volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. Supposed to receive a lot of the fumes (VUG) from the eruption on Maui tomorrow. Will close the house and turn on the A/C.
Shortly before the end of the war in Europe the 1204th EFFP moved south towards Munich. We crossed the Danube River on a pontoon bridge as the fixed autobahn bridge was destroyed by the retreating enemy. Have you seen or know of a picture of that pontoon bridge. Can't find one and my memory of it is a bit thin.
Thanks for anything you know of.
Aloha from Maui,
Jim
