Now I'm getting really nervous .
It's 23h00 and tomorrow I have an appointment with Mr Donald R Burgett and Mr Mark Bando at 09h00 at their B&B . I will be joining them for 3 days .
Once I was able to meet my favorite rockstar a great feeling but this is making me nervous ...
I'll report .
I will meet them at the Bulge ....Bastogne .

Dear Reg:
Now slow down and take a deep breath. You will do just fine. Don will have you feeling relaxed in no time at all. I promise, he DOES NOT BITE.
Still I KNOW how you feel. Been there, done that. And I agree with you, it's far better than meeting any rock star. No doubt about it!
So enjoy your time. It will be short enough. Remember all the things I told ya and you'll do just fine. Oh heck, you'll do fine without my advice.
Just got these photos from Reg (Lennon) this afternoon. These are just great. Tell me you don't just love the one of Bando and Burgett. It's a classic!
Thanks Reg. Looks like you guys are having a great time. Keep 'em coming!
Don by church...
------------------
Marion ,
This foto shows Don in Noville .
In the back you see the new church of Noville .
The old church , the one Don's A-company blew up was located about 200 miles up north .
Here Don told us about what happened in december 1944 in Noville .
We visited several different locations as where he started running being chased by a german Panzer . ....
He actually told us everything , all he wrote down in Seven roads to hell ....+ some extras...
Reg
The next photo is from Frank Gubbels. I particularly like this one.
Don "surrendering"!
------------
This pic is taken in Bezory (Bastogne ) ,
It shows an old barn that got hit by german artillery and shell fragments .
Don is posing like he has been put there for execution .......but they missed him .
His last demand : fire with your eyes shut please .....
It was a joke .
Reg
Geez....only just a little jealous!!!
Seems they had a great time!
More photos from Reg. Some of these are Don getting his medal at Bastogne.

This is the Chateau off Remoulle
At this place there was a HQ and Gen Patton took a nap over there .
We gaot to meet the lady who still lives there . She's 88 years old and talked english ....great .
She showed us the inside of the castle and showed us where Patton took a nap .
Mark told us some more great stories about that place .
