The passing of Joseph Walter Miller - 36th Combat Engineer
Posted by: Walt's Daughter - 11-21-2014, 01:43 PM - Forum: Announcements, Get Well Wishes & Farewells - No Replies

Well after going through several folders during the last few weeks (just about caught up), I found a letter I had put aside from Barbara, the wife of Joseph Walter Miller, 36th Combat Engineer.

Joseph had passed away on Nov 10, 2012 and I wanted to share the letter and an article and obituary. Sounds like he was a very wonderful man and I wished I could have met him in person.

So to Barbara and all his step-children and grandchildren, I am so sorry for your loss.

Here's to Joseph! RIP to another great Seahorse!

Comical 6th Corps Officer's Rest Area Map Nancy France

I obtained this map on Ebay a while back. It's a hilarious map representing the VI Corps Officer's rest area in Nancy France from WWII. What a superb acquisition. Enjoy, my friends!
