Farewell Bob Price - 36th Engineer WWII
Posted by: Walt's Daughter - 02-20-2012, 09:16 AM - Forum: Announcements, Get Well Wishes & Farewells - Replies (2)

Sigh, this section is becoming longer and longer...

I just got a phone call from Bob Price's daughter that I really didn't want to hear. Bob was a very courageous man and a great Seahorse. He came to the reunions at a terrible price to him, he was bent over so far his head rested on his cane. Yet he was always cheerful and smiling. We corresponded regularly on the Internet and he always saw the bright side of things. He joins many of his old comrades and one day we will meet again. May he rest in peace!

36 Engineers are rugged......John Fallon II. Capt. USA Ret.

My condolences to his family. Another fine seahorse joins his brothers.

Hello Marion! I have been away from the site for almost 5 years! I can't believe it's been that long. I love the site! I see that there has been some additions concerning the 19th Engineers. Great stuff! I am working on some stuff concerning the 19th and would like to send it to you once I get it completed to share with others. I love the new WWIi Field Manuals! Great work you do!
