I'll make this a short one. This is my 3rd attempt to get my message out. Seems as though it has taken on a mind of it's own, and cut my messages off. All of a sudden Everything is wiped clean and I'm back to my home page. Before it has a chance to do it again,,,,,MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A COOL YULE.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

I'll try again to tell you all of the many earth shattering things I have to pass on.

Mare,,,, You haven't installed a glitch in your program that penalizes us who take too much time saying what is on our minds. there's not a whole lot there. we have to get it out. space is limited.

better quit while i'm ahead

Received this fantastic email the other day. How wonderful. He sure did a lot of work and I am so grateful for his help. Thank you, thank you. Now I just have to get off my butt and get my list updated. Will start working on this today.

Hi Marion, I am a big fan of all the great music you have provided ! Its great to hear so much WW2 era music in one place, love the website. It will fit in nicely with my own playlists. I enjoy it so much because I am WW2 history buff, probably because my Grand father served with the Canadian Army in WW2. Anyway, I noticed your songlist is incomplete, missing many of the artists names, so I did some research and found the artists for over 40 of the songs on the playlist(See attachment) Enjoy! Merry Christmas !

  A touching Christmas Story!
Posted by: Walt's Daughter - 12-20-2011, 11:05 AM - Forum: Jokes & Fun! - Replies (2)

A TOUCHING CHRISTMAS STORY

A couple was Christmas shopping at the mall on Christmas Eve and the mall was packed.

Walking through the mall the surprised wife look up and noticed her

husband was no where around and she was very upset because they had a lot to do.

She used her cell phone to call her husband because she was so upset, to ask him where he was.

The husband in a calm voice said, honey remember the jewlery store we went into

5 years ago where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we

could not afford and I told you that I would get it for you one day.

His wife said crying, yes I remember that jewelry store.

He said, well I'm in the bar next to it.

15 ways to stop wasting food
Posted by: Walt's Daughter - 12-20-2011, 10:07 AM - Forum: Shooting the Breeze - No Replies

Just some common sense ideas, but these are smart. People do WASTE so much food. I know friends who won't even eat left-overs and toss everything down a garbage disposal. What a shame. In our family we EAT everything. And we also don't pay that much attention to expiration dates. As I stated on Facebook; our grandmothers used their heads (and their noses) to know when things were bad.

One of my customers told me he HATES those danged expiration dates on everything and actually tries to hid them from his wife. Why? Because she goes through the cupboard and refrigerator on a daily basis and throws everything out, regardless if it's still good or not. She simply relies on that printed date. What a shame. It drives him crazy! I can see why.

Another thing they should have stated on their is to PLAN YOUR MEALS FOR THE WEEK. We've been doing that for a few years now and it makes a huge difference. I buy what's on my list and nothing more.
