I am one person who still enjoys having a book in my hands, even though you can read anything online these days. I am sorry to see that Borders is going out of business. Not only does it mean a loss of 10,700 American jobs but it also pulls us away from a lifelong pleasure...the simple act of turning the pages of a good book. Borders is the biggest bookseller to go out of business so far, but certainly not the only one. The small, privately owned bookstore is becoming a thing of the past too. I predict the next thing to go will be newspapers and I will really miss them. It's still a pleasurable experience for me to open up the daily paper and smell the newsprint as I turn the pages...how about you?

I have been away for a while. I haven't lost my interest in WW2 but for some reason I had lost my discipline to post on forums. I have posted a few messages on WBG.com but that's it. I will try to check in more often from now on.
All is well here and I hope all is well with everybody here on the forum.
My apologies for being away without saying a thing.
Regards,
Frank

Hello everyone, after all this time, I inform you that missing a week before the historical re-enactment event that I organize in Bisano.
This is the event site and soon you will see the photos of this year and maybe even some video! B-Day :: History "lands" in Bisano
In the area, was passed the 85th Inf. Div,, but surely you'll see patches of various divisions ... Unfortunately it seems that here in Italy the 85th is not known!
See you soon
Enry
