From Emilio in Italy:

The Committee For The Recognition of U.S. Actions on Mount Pantano

The Committee would like to remind all our friends that today, November 29th 2010

is the 67th Anniversary of the Battle of Mount Pantano

On this day in 1943 The Red Bulls of the 168th Infantry Regiment began their climb to secure the summit of Mount Pantano.

Please remember those who fought and died

in our thoughts and in our prayers...

The Committee for the Recognition of US Actions on Mount Pantano

Here's to Rocky and da boys! I for one will never forget!

Heard my good friend Bill is in hospital. He is one of my dearest vets. His daughter wrote to me this morning, and I wrote back. This is her letter from this evening. Think of you often Bill. I just sent him a card. :huggybears:

Dear Marion ,

Hello , and again thank you for all you have done for all . My Dad ( Bill ) has been in the hospital since 24 OCT 2010 till now with no discharge date . It is day by day , I visit him after work from the Navy Base everyday and on the weekends also . Dads wife , my Mom Joanne goes daily and keeps him company . Our family is blessed with your love and you will always be in our hearts . Much Love , Pam

A memorial to the crew of a US C47A that crashed on Sicily in 1943. This memorial was raised by the owner of the hotel where the aicraft crashed. I am with the hotel manager who guided me to the site.

Hello John,

I managed to find a new unknown Seahorse picture taken in the area of Vesoul, around September 44.

Hope you enjoy it!

Kind regards Gilles
