Mer (Omaha Beach) Here a picture of Hadred Brown in .... well guess for yourself, but have a close look what's behind the tower. Will be back there next year for the commemorations.

You will see certain caissons are still in good condition, others less or completely destroyed .

You went by boat to see them from a short distance? Never done that by myself. Very interesting. Was it your own boat or did you hire one in Arromanches?
