202nd Engineers - Walt's Daughter - 07-03-2008 Recently heard from a gentleman named Don Shearer, whose father Dale (still living), was a member of the 202nd Engineers. We spoke on the phone for almost an hour and I promised he and his dad I would find out all I could about the unit.
I am posting everything I have found so far, and will post further information when I scan pages from my engineer's book later this morning.

The following person wants to get in touch with members of the 202nd: (this was a guestbook entry)
Lou Siri E-mail address: lou@positivefitness.net Requests/Comments/Answers: My father (same name) was part of the 202nd Engineer Combat Battalion Co C. I would like to get in contact with anyone form this co. or anyone with information about them. My father died in 1974 when I was 5 so I did not get to talk to him about WW II. Thank you Friday, September 15th 2006 - 04:24:27 PM
You should also contact the Army Corps Engineers, Office of History. Please ask for Michael Brodhead. Any other of the historians will be able to help you too. Ask them for any info they have on the 202nd Engineers.
