Glider Rider - The 82nd All-American Chorus - Walt's Daughter - 02-11-2009 I know Moose will love this for sure, as will others. I fell in love with it (great words), and in fact placed it on my buddy's website, last night.
I'll just place a direct link to the tune. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
It's called Glider Rider and is performed by the 82nd All-American Chorus!

Glider Rider - The 82nd All-American Chorus - CaptO - 02-11-2009 That. . . was funny!!
You could tell what seemed to rub them the wrong more than anything else, "The pay is exactly the same!" That was a travesty that those guys didn't get jump pay. I bet you statistically you were safer with a parachute than coming in inside a glider. I heard somewhere that a coffin maker in the US was making those; not something to inspire troops. The fact that the concept of glider borne infantry didn't last long seems to give credence to the fact it was the best idea. I guess the guys at Eben Emael made it look easy and everyone said, "I want some of those!"
Glider Rider - The 82nd All-American Chorus - Walt's Daughter - 02-11-2009 I wouldn't have been found DEAD OR ALIVE in one of those babies. Watching footage of those gliders, their pilots and their crew, scares the bejeezus out of me!
