Happy Birthday Dad!!! - Walt's Daughter - 03-30-2011

There's a thousand words I could write tonight, but I guess everyone here already knows how I feel. Heck, I have an entire website dedicated to him, so...

Just need to say Happy Birthday Dad. Wish you were here, but you are in a way.

Love you lots,

Marion

Marion, without your dad there would be no website. Without the website I would never have met you or the great members that are here. I would never have had an invite to the reunions or a reason to visit Pennsylvania.

I must add my thoughts to yours in remembering him at this time and say "THANK YOU WALT, although I never met you it will always seem that through your daughter, I have."

Colin.

Thank you Colin, Frank and Dogdaddy for remembering my father on his day. Means a lot to me to hear from both of you.

Lots of love.

When people think of how they influence others, they have to remember that they continue to touch lives after they have left us. We owe much!

Thanks Todd and welcome back. I am sitting in my room on post at Fort Leonard Wood right now. Just got back from the archives. How cool is that?

Going home tomorrow. Wish I could stay longer...
