Jean J Band of Brothers - Carl Henn (Story of the 36th Engineers' Band) - Peanuts - 04-13-2013 Note: According to their history, the 36th Engineers (less 2nd Bn) sailed from Norfolk, Virginia, on 24 October 1942 for the landing at Fedala in French Morocco. The 2nd Battalion was in the British Isles and then landed near Algiers. The band apparently sailed later from Staten Island on 2 November as stated in the Band of Brothers, but not the regiment itself.
