American Heroes Return..
#1

In the footsteps of Heroes; May 2005 marked the beginning of a great voyage for a group of World War II combat veterans , a voyage of return, in fact , to the lands where they had served over 60 years ago as young men for many of the veterans .

The greatest generation ! Thank you and god bless you all :heartpump:

The quote stating how few of them are left, is by a good friend of mine, Sgt Don Burgett of the 101st Airborne. I was also VERY surprised when they showed one man who talked about being thanked and remembered. Who was that man? Another good friend of mine and mentor, George Koskimaki, also of the 101st Airborne, and another Michigan resident. I've had the honor and pleasure of visiting each of those men at their homes.
