I forgot to let you know that the Mayor of Stewart Manor was very appreciative of the info you and I put together on Lt. Nicol, and he expressed it in a thank you letter.
In researching Stewart Manor residents, I came across a story (attached) of another SW serviceman who survived the war, though much of his time was spent in a German POW camp. Since he was a navigator in the USAAF, the story doesn't quite fit into your website, but it should put a smile on the face of anyone who cares to read it.
