What if Iwo Happened Today
#1

Take the time to view it. It's worth it. It will probably make you snicker and sneer, get in a few giggles and maybe even piss you off. It's quite cute and someone's appraisal of how Iwo might have been covered if it happened today. Can't agree more. Pretty imaginative.

How true Marion. Thank God we had good war correspondents like Ernie Pyle and others that told the truth. Todays news media should not be "imbedded with the troops"

but but "burried by the troops" .

Buried is right. Most of the news channels and reporters today can't even hold a candle to Ernie and his colleagues. Those men had integrity! :pdt34:

"Most of the news channels and reporters today can't even hold a candle to Ernie and his colleagues. Those men had integrity! " Quite true Marion, but I am concerned as to the "why" of it. WW2 was of a Democratic Administration ulesess I am wrong,. So why this change in policy toward our troops? Just to bust the Republican azzes and to hell with the feelings of our troops. At least back "then" we were a united country in

WW 2. Seems like now "Party Lines" want to create problems in war.
