Engineering Skills 60 years later ha-ha!
#1

I just had to share this with you. Yesterday I received a Christmas greeting from Johnny and Evelyn. Johnny was a member of my dad's unit, the 540th. Johnny and Evelyn are very active and vibrant people and this paragraph from their Christmas newsletter is a testament to their lifestyle.

"...First of all a truck accidentally knocked out a large and heavy rock from our rockery. This huge rock was now blocking our car's driveway. Johnny was excited. He said, "I finally get to use my army engineer skills." Together we dug and used an iron bar. The rock was put back better than ever..." :pdt12:

Also included in the letter were two color photos; one of Johnny and one of Evelyn, showing them very hard at work in their basement, working alongside the hired help.

Talk about inspiring! Two thumbs up to my dear friends! :pdt34::pdt34:
