Spent part of our day watching one of our Netflix movies, Battle of the Bulge: American Experience. It got from both of us. It was a PBS documentary, and it was very similar in style to Ken Burns' Civil War. Filled with LOTS of footage we've never seen before (and that's unusual for us), including tons of color film. EXCELLENT!! This comes highly recommended. In fact I want to add it to my collection.
It was made in 1994 and is 90 minutes in length.

I got the dvd this morning and watched it right away and was amazed to see that there are some takes from Luxembourg and some some Lux people were interviewed

I knew you would enjoy it. I think it's one of the best that we've seen in a long time. Happy I could turn you onto it.

I first saw it advertised in World War II Magazine and was able to order it as part of a 3-DVD package. It really is excellent! BTW..don't forget to turn to PBS this Sunday..."The War" begins on the 23rd!
