Lee and I enjoyed that. The look on his face was priceless. Thanks Brooke.

That was priceless! Have you read his MOH citation? He got it by using his flamethrower on Iwo.
Wow.... penny for his thoughts.

Ya, I did. He was and still is a vibrant, wonderful man and soldier. He lit up when that was in his hands. Ya, penny for his thoughts indeed.

He was a "Checkerboard" (99th ID) infantryman/sniper. They helped to consolidate the northern shoulder of The Bulge eventhough they suffered heavily. Amazing shot!

Both videos were great! I finally got to watch them because I have been limited to me work computer on a trip that doesn't allow streaming videos. The gentlemen with the flame thrower sure remembered his old stance, didn't he? And hitting a man sized target at 1000 yards? That's not technology. That may make for consistancy, but it takes a marksman to use it properly (breathing, weapon control, etc.) Truely amazing! And the infantry museum is great too! It's just down the road from me.

That was really something, I bet they both felt like they were 19 again.
Bless them.
