My father, Edward F. King, of the Bronx, New York, was in the 1017th Engineer Treadway Bridge Co (out of Fort Dix on Feb. 13, 1946), and I have some photos of him with some other men during their time of service. I am new to this site and would like to share them. I also would like to find out if Jeannie Madison Smith who posted on August 30, 2010, is still on this site because she posted that she was looking to find my dad and mom of the Bronx, New York. I’m having a little bit of a hard time finding my way through the site and would appreciate any ideas on how find photos that might have my dad in them. I’m not sure who the man on the left is (below), but my father is on the right and alone in the second photo. I am looking for pictures of them at the Battle of the Bulge, too
