Carentan (Street Holgate)

The Americans enter Carentan on June 12th, at dawn. A last German counter-offensive failed. The parachutists go down the street Holgate to join the forehead , after the fights which "bled" the 101eme division.

I has been in Normandy quite often but never in Carentan, I'm going to Normandy in June and this time I will visit Carentan that's for sure
