WHEN I FIRST ' SIGNED' UP FOR THE GROUP THE NEW MEMBERS WERE GIVEN WW11 PROJECTS TO WRITE UPON AND SUBMIT THEM TO THE NEWSLETTER, SOMETHING SELDOM DONE NOW.

May be an idea to re-introduce this as part of the joining process.
How about getting the commitee or squad leaders to nominate one or two members a month to enter a project for entry into the newsletter?
What the subject of the projects would be could also be set by the commitee / squad leaders.
Could it go towards squad point scoring?
I personally would be willing to write a project on a set subject, but I don't know about the others.
I would think that it would have to be voted on.
Would it be worthwhile mentioning it a the next meeting?
