My dear friend Russ Weiskircher, 45th Inf Div, is going into the hospital on Tuesday. Thoughts and prayers from our community are greatly appreciated.
Here's to your health Russ. I expect to hear from you as soon as you are out of the hospital. God bless you now and always.
Just sharing some pertinent thoughts on this Friday before I check into the hospital on Tuesday for whatever heart surgery is indicated. Everything points towards a simple cath and stent service or replacement. Only G0d knows. I pray for his blessings and for the surgeon and for my patient wife. She inches ahead with her walker, I stride to hide the chest pains but we walk hand in hand with our God.
Keep well and in touch! Russ

Will indeed pray for Mr. Weiskircher. If he gets a cardiac cath & stent, he should be out of there in no time at all. I'll pray for that.

Fantastic news from my buddy. This email was sent to me and another one of his friends.
Good Friends: The internet is an integral part of my life; warts and roses. You two are among the far flung bunch of roses that expressed concern, well wishes and prayers.
God responded. My surgeon used his considerable talent to implant a new stent, clean up the old stents, cath and clean several arteries one of which was 99% blocked. I waS DAYS AWAY FROM SERIOUS TROUBLE BUT am now good to go for as long as God permits. Janie is feeling better. We are smilimg in synch again. Thank you and yours for cards, calls, messages and prayers, God be with you! Russ

terrific news! So happy for Russ and his wife.
Clearly, the Lord wants him to continue his "mission".
