If anybody else out there has a relative or friend that served in the 691rst I would like to hear from you...my late Uncle, Verian "Rusty" Wells was a tank commander in this unit and I'd love to hear any of the stories you might have about them. I have a copy of his actions on the day he won a bronze star for valor but it's a rather hard to read copy.
