I've been doing some research for our forum member, WWII veteran, Jim Davis. He was looking for answers to questions regarding a short period of time after the war in France and Germany. I talked to him on the phone and later was able to send him some of the info he requested.
This morning I found the jackpot; a section from WE the 48th entitled, Trail of the 48th, which shows their entire journey throughout the war. Jim was interested in finding a few key places when several from his unit, 1204th Engineer Fire Fighting Platoon, joined the 48th. So I made copies of those specific pages and sent them to him, and also took the time to place that section on the 1108th's history page. Thought it would be cool to place here too.
