We had seating for 150 WWII veterans to attend, we ended up with over 300 :D

Over 300 veterans! Wow, what a great turnout!!

 

I love that Memorial. It's so different. Very cool concept.

 

Thanks for posting all those. I know how time-consuming that is. I for one appreciate all your efforts.

It was truly an honor to help those men get this monument built. It was long overdue for these men and between the time we broke ground a year earlier, till the time we finished it... we'd lost ten WWII veterans that were instrumental in seeing this monument become reality. :( We owed a LOT to all ten of them... we sorely missed them when we dedicated it. However, they were right there with us that glorious day ;)

 

If you're ever in the neighborhood stop by and see it, it truly is a sight to behold. :)
