Camp Claiborne construction photographs

Last year I was lucky enough to be given a collection of photographs taken during the camp's construction.

 

Most were taken in Late 1940, but a couple in 1942 and 1943.

 

These were saved from going into the trash.

So glad you were able to save them. It would break my heart to see these wind up in the trash can. Do you ever let yourself think how much WWII pics and letters, etc., wind up in the garbage. So sad.
