A European friend, also interested in WWII, recently wrote to me inquiring about a book written by John T Carter, stating he was having great difficulty located a copy of Some Sidelights of Operation Dragoon. He asked if I could find a copy for him, but alas, I too am having problems.
We have scoured the internet, but even if we do find mention, it always lists the book as not-available.
I have written a professor at the university where the author worked before he passed away, but so far it's a dead-end. Haven't given up yet and wrote to him again, for he was away for a few days and stated he would look into. But if anyone knows of a copy, please let Jack and I know.
Many thanks!
