Here are some pictures shot by Guy Peremans, of COBRA and CRIBA, and showing the main phases of the picking up of the Sherman from the McAuliffe Square in Bastogne, Belgium, Tuesday, November 6, 2006.The tank will stay in the Rocourt Arsenal until next April or May and will be cleaned, repainted and refitted. All the inhabitants of Bastogne are already waiting for its come back.

Voici, photographiées par Guy Péremans, vice président COBRA et membre du CRIBA, les phases principales de l'enlêvement du char de la Place McAuliffe à Bastogne, le lundi 6 novembre 2006. Le char a été emmené à l'Arsenal de Rocourt (près de Liège) où il sera lavé, décapé, poncé, sablé et repeint. Il sera aussi remis en état (roues, chenilles, tourelle, mitrailleuse,...). Son retour est prévu pour avril ou mai 2007. Les Bastognards l'attendent déjà avec impatience.
