Referred to previously as 'the man who never was', the passage of time and newly released material has given the author the full story of the hoodwinking of the Nazi espionage chiefs prior to Operation Husky. A thoroughly absorbing read!

I read the Wikipedia page on that and it was very interesting. If there is anything we did well in the war, it was our deception planning and execution. The Germans, for their part, couldn't get intelligence out of a Time magazine if they had a subscription.
