I was happy to hear this. Hey Joe and other 3rd Inf'ers...

 

HI MARION,

WELL THAT'S IT UNTIL NEXT WEEK, THERE WILL BE LOTS OF ' BATTLE' PHOTOS FOR YOU. I THINK WE MAY BE CHANGING OUR SHOULDER PATCH TO THAT OF THE US 3d INFANTRY DIVISION, THE EVENT SCENARIO : ITALY 1943, POST ALLIED TAKING OF NAPLES.

IT LOOKS LIKE WE CAN EXPECT A LOT OF RAIN OVER THE WEEKEND, SO WE WILL GET TO FIND OUT AND IN A VERY TINY, TINY WAY EXPERIENCE WHAT THOSE BRAVE VETERANS HAD TO GO THROUGH.

 

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, ' SPEAK' TO YOU SOON.
