All Vets Star Medal

Kind of reminds me of back a bit when NJ issued the Distinguised Service medal for combat. My wife sent in to get it for me. Was notified to be at a nearby place for presentation. I politely told them to send it if they wished to. Was not going there. They sent it. This medal and a nickle (or now $1.00) will get you a cup of coffee. They sent a ribbon, medal and a certiicate. At least it was free.
