The village of Avelin near Lille reconstituted a military camp americain and organized

a procession of vehicles of times for the anniversary of May 8 , 1945.

Verow, those puptents and jeeps sure brought back some memories !!!! Didn't notice if the tents were the two piece type or not. Ours were the two piece, I carried on half and my buddy carried the other. I had the pegs and he had the poles. In the foxhole we used the half to cover us. Lotsa memories. NICE PICTURES, THANK YOU.
