Commemorative Air Force B-17 Tour

I went to see the B-17 when it was in Kalamazoo a few years ago. Might have been the same one. Got to go inside the plane but didnt take the flight. It sure is alot smaller than one thinks it is. Just standing on the field and watching that plane slowly lumbering down the runway and lifting off while thinking of those planes heading out on missions gave me goosebumps, and a whole lot more respect for the men who flew them into battle. |
