Thank you for the welcome and for the information on the 610th Enginner Light Equipment Company .
I don't know which, if any, unit the 2731 Engineer Light Equipment Company was attached to. My father always said that his company worked for General Patch / 7th Army.
I have read somewhere that Engineer Light Equipment Companies were attached to an Army rather that to any particular division. I don't know if this is a fact.
