La Coupole WWII Rocket Base

I went this weekend visited the museum .

La Coupole WWII Rocket Base that was contructed by Nazi Germany at Wizernes , south west of the French town of Saint Omer , between Lille and Calais.

The Coupole is a gigantic underground bunker designed by the Nazis, in 1943,1944 to store,

prepare and launch the rocket V2 ( first machines to have reached stratosphere), the secret weapon with which Hilter intented to destroy London and reverse the course of the war.
