My Dad surely knew both of these men from his MP Co.T4 Daniel McCormick killed Nov 13, 1943 (probably in 5th army's struggle to the Gustav Line) and Cpl Glenn Sullivan at Anzio.
Posting this in response to Rocky's post - "where are the Anzio, Salerno, Cassino photos".
I agree & often wonder - if my Dad had lived longer - would we have talked about the war & would he have wanted to go back to see those places? I'm not sure, but maybe Anzio. I would have liked to go back there with him and wonder now if it would have been healing for him.
The American Battle Monuments site is searchable with photos of the cemeteries and also by unit#s - so you can find the names of men in your outfit who are buried there. As you will see - it also tells you exactly where they are buried.
this link should show the names of the 206th MP men, but ???
