I also have some glider parts on my attic from a glider of the 101st that also crashed in my village.
If you are interrested I can post them sometome together with the gliders info.
I also found some glider serials of the 10 gliders you refer to that are still unaccounted for.
440 TCG, CG4/42-46497, 43-39661, 43-39695, 43-40526.
One of those, glider 42-46497 was piloted by F/O Robert A. Palmer.
His tow/power pilot was James L. Leach.
James L. Leach probably was in the same lift as Pilot. Major, William R. Cooper cause he stated he saw his lead-plane getting hit and the attached glider was released.
He was in the number 3 position and had no radio communication with his glider on tow.
At approximately the same time as the lead ships glider cut loose his own glider also cut loose.
It made a left turn and he could follow its decent until it was out of sight behind enemy lines.
