For you what is the strongest image of the landing?

A great post Vee. I agree with all you say. It is hard to understand the hardship these men endured but the pictures tell the story!! For special reasons this to me is the strongest image I take from WW2. The resting place of 490 Canadians who came so far to die on foreign soil fighting for us all! The Agira Canadian Cemetery on Sicily.
