That is a great photo. It's cool to see all the vehicles.
This is odd, but the last medal on the bottom right, looks like a WWI Army Occupation Medal. Strange.
Well since I have started this endeavor nothing seems to fit for him 
That's what I thought too (WWI), but wanted to make sure I wasn't confusing it with something else. It is strange too, all I can locate for pictures is basic training and towards the end of his service, nothing in the middle (which would be the 106th). I emailed his sister's son who has all of her pictures, he said he would take a look as well to see what she may have had. Too bad in that 1st picture (with the 5 guys) I can't see the patches on his other arm.
