Totally agree. I would not like to see it become a convention-like atmosphere, for there are other events out there, that cater to that "type" of thing. I too, love the family-type atmosphere and the exchange of conversation. It's an intimate group and I would want it to continue that way. I'm sure others would agree with the sentiment.
It should be for those "proud" sons and daughters, etc., who want to be there to represent their family members, in a respectful manner. Again, thinking of those people out there like "us", who no longer have the opportunity to attend.
